Mario Frank

I am a post-doctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. My research interests are in the intersection of machine learning and information security. I develop learning algorithms for security problems. Also, I keep a vital interest in analyzing sensor data. Please check out my research pages or my publications/google-scholar for more details.

Currently, I am working in Dawn Song's information security group at UC Berkeley. Before joining UC Berkeley, I was a Ph.D. student at ETH Zurich under supervision of David Basin and Joachim M. Buhmann. Even earlier, I studied physics at the University of Heidelberg and the University of Sydney. I wrote a diploma thesis in the Multidimensional Image Processing group under supervision of Fred Hamprecht.
